Security at MarsPDF
At MarsPDF, security and file privacy are important parts of our online PDF tools. We designed our platform to help users process PDF documents quickly while keeping uploaded files protected and temporary.
Secure File Uploads
MarsPDF uses secure HTTPS connections to help protect data transferred between your browser and our servers. This helps prevent uploaded files and processed documents from being exposed during transmission.
Temporary File Processing
Uploaded files are processed only for the PDF tool selected by the user, such as merging, splitting, compressing, converting, rotating, protecting, unlocking, editing, or signing PDF documents.
We do not use uploaded files for unrelated purposes, and we do not manually review, sell, rent, or share user documents with third parties.
Automatic File Deletion
Uploaded files and processed output files are automatically deleted from our servers within 1 hour after processing. This helps reduce the amount of time temporary files remain on our systems.
No Manual File Review
MarsPDF does not manually inspect the contents of uploaded documents. Files are handled automatically by our processing system to complete the selected task.
Abuse Protection
To protect our platform and users, MarsPDF may use file size limits, rate limits, upload validation, temporary storage controls, and other security measures to prevent abuse, spam, malware, or harmful activity.
User Responsibility
Users are responsible for the files they upload. You should only upload documents that you have the right to process and should avoid uploading highly sensitive, confidential, financial, medical, or legally restricted information unless you understand the risks of using online tools.
Third-Party Services
MarsPDF may use trusted third-party services for hosting, analytics, advertising, website performance, or security. These services may process limited technical information according to their own privacy and security practices.
Security Limitations
We work to keep MarsPDF secure and reliable, but no online service can guarantee complete protection against every possible risk. Users should review processed files and take appropriate precautions when working with important documents.
Report a Security Issue
If you believe you have found a security issue or vulnerability on MarsPDF, please contact us through our Contact Us page and include enough details so we can investigate the issue.
